Is there something more?

More and more I am noticing my clients “wanting” to achieve something in their life…but their beliefs about themselves are like a boulder in the road.

There is no way they can achieve their goal/vision for their life because of the beliefs they have about themselves.

Is there something more?

Have you ever had the feeling that there was something more for you…but you just don’t know what it looks like?

Just so you know, this feeling is totally normal and you are not alone. Just look at the millions of books sold on the topic of  “Finding Your Purpose”!

And while pursuing your purpose can be exciting (and perhaps nerve wracking at the same time) – I want to share with you an obstacle that stands boldly in the way of this pursuit for so many of us.

Our thoughts about ourself.

More and more I am noticing my clients “wanting” to achieve something in their life…but their beliefs about themselves are like a boulder in the road. There is no way they can achieve their goal/vision for their life because of the beliefs they have about themselves.

These beliefs come in the form of “I AM” statements.

I have lost count on how many times I have worked with a client who is desperate to lose weight only to uncover their belief is “they never will”.

They think…I AM a woman who will always struggle with my weight.

Well of course, with a belief such as this – it will always navigate their actions (ie: overeat)…proving their “I AM” statement to be true.

Just recently I did this work with my own coach. She helped me uncover a belief that “I AM not meant to have both happiness and money.”

Now how does that thought serve my efforts of building a large and prosperous coaching business that brings me both immense happiness and financial success?

It doesn’t.

And it wasn’t until I uncovered the thought, that I was able to see how it was standing in the way of me achieving my goal.

In reality, there are very few “I AM” statements that are facts.

I AM a female.
I AM married.
I AM a mother.

Facts are things everyone can agree on to be true.

Most of our “I AM” statements are thoughts, not facts. And they are the beliefs that are standing in our way of achieving that MORE we crave in our life!

With the help of my coach, I created a new “I AM” statement, that allows for both happiness and money to be present in my life.

I AM a woman who expands in abundance, success and love everyday when I inspire those around me to do the same.

What “I AM” statements do you have about yourself?

Are they actual facts or simply thoughts that are holding you back from fulfilling that longing for something more?

Do you need help to uncover the beliefs that are not serving you so you can create the life you have always wanted?

I can help.
